The equation  has two real solutions. What can be deduced about the value of s?

a = s ,  b = -11  ,  c = 9

for two real solution the discriminant should be > 0

b² – 4ac  >  0

(-11)²  -  4 (s) (9)  > 0

121  -  36 s >  0

-36 s  >  -121

s   >   -121 ÷ -36

Determine whether the given functions are even or odd? Justify with reason.

Ans. Function is even. Because graph of function is symmetric with respect to the vertical axis.
