Virtual University signs MoU with UET, Taxila

Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Virtual University of Pakistan (VUP) and University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila for research, development, innovation and joint education. Dr. Naveed A Malik, Rector Virtual University of Pakistan and Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, Vice Chancellor UET, Taxila signed the MoU in a ceremony on June 22, 2016 held at M.A Jinnah Campus, Lahore.   Both institutions agreed to exchange relevant technical information and provide support in the field of education. Virtual University will also offer its Virtual Information system (VIS) for management of academic programs & exam activities, employee database and complete campus portal management to UET, Taxila. On this occasion, Dr.Naveed A Malik, Rector VUP, said that the Virtual University has always been working on judicious and economic use of resources in the greater national interest in the country through innovative use of technology. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Akhtar, Vice Chancellor UET Taxila admired the state of the art ICT infrastructure of Virtual University and stated that this collaboration will improve the performance and the quality of student services at UET, Taxila to achieve the highest levels of professionalism.
